In the final of the Reed Cup, Storey (scr) defeated Birch (12s) and thus became •Jib singles champion of the Whnngnrei Rowing Club. Storey quickly overhauled nis handicap and the pair kept together for f time. Storey drew away to win by two lengths, Thp club intends to continue rowing throughout the winter and at least one four'Onred boat will be left fully rigged.
