BUILDERS BEAT MERCHANTS.

ANNUAL MATCH YESTERDAY. The fifth annual bowline match between Builders and Merchants was held at the Auckland Club's green yesterday and resulted iti a win for the Builders by lIS points to 105. At the conclusion of the match tho miniature bidder, presented by the Wilson Portland Cement Company, was handed over to Mr. V. A. Coyle by Mr. .T. W. Hardley, on behalf of the' Merchants. RAWHITI CLUB. Members of the Rawhiti Bowling Club will be unable to play on their own green to-morrow owing to tho fact that the preen has been turned over, but the Auckland Club has very thoughtfully come to the rescue with an offer that any Rawhiti playeis mRV get games at the Auckland green if they so desire. The Auckland Club s is very much appreciated by the Rawhiti members, and illustrates the fine spirit- of comradeship that exists between the clubs. The Rawhiti green will be available the following week.

TOURNEY 'AT ONEHUNGA. Sixteen teams took part in tho final midweek full-rink tourpament. conducted by the Onehunga Bowling Club. They were divided into two sections of eight and seven games of nine heads were played. Following are the results:— Section A.—Robertson (Onehunga), 4 wins, 1 loss; Keith (Pukekolie), 4 wins, 1 loss; A. Brown (Onehunga), 6 wins. 1 loss; Gill (Mount Eden). -2 wins. 5 losses; Mcintosh (Onehunga), 3 wins. 4 losses; Prangley (M.angere), -2 wins, 5 losses; E. PAPATOETOE TOURNEY. Twenty-six teams participated in a full rink tournament played on the Papatoeioe Club's green on Wednesday. First Round.—Carter, of Carlton Club, with five wins, won outright. Livingston, Smytheman, V»yllie and Bayliss each had four wins. The play off resulted :—Wyllie. 8: Bayliss. 5; Smytheman, 4; Livingston. 4. The final for the runneru'p resulted in a win for Bayliss, of lapatootoe.
