WEDDINGS.
JUDD—RAMSEY. The wedding took place at. St. George's Church, Ringsland, of Miss Edna Lilian Ramsey, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben." Ramsey, of Ivailaia, and Mr. William Dudley Judd, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Judd, of Kingsland, the Rev. J. Iv. McFarland officiating. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a simple gown of ivory georgette over satin, with scalloped collar on the corsage. A frail of hand-made silver tissue flowers fell from the waist over the flared folds of the skirt, and circlets of orange blossom held in place the tulle veil. A shower bouquet was carried. Miss Daisy Watkins attended as bridesmaid, wearing a frock of cameopink taffeta, with a silver lace hem drooping at the back. A head-dress of gold tissue and tulle was worn and she carried a bouquet of mauve and pink asters and maidenhair fern. Mr. Leslie Judd was best. man. The wedding breakfast and reception were held in St. George's Ila 11, where a large number of < guests were entertained. In the absence of the bride's mother Mrs. A. Ramsey received I the guests, wearing figured crepe fleuri and black Bangkok hat. She carried a bouquet of autumn-shaded flowers. Mrs. Judd, the bridegroom's mother, wore a gown of fawn wool crepe de chine, relieved with 'figured mavocain and hat to lone. • She carried a. bouquet of dahlias. Mc( -OR n—SHORT. A qui of wedding look, place at the Berpsford Street Copgregaiional Church nil March' 17. when Eileen, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Short, of Patuniahoe, was married to William Henrv. only son of Mrs. Tanner. of Heme Raw Auckland, and of (he late Mr. William - McCord. The Rev. L. B. Fletcher officiated. The bride, who was given away by Mr W. Tanner, wore a frock of white satin beaute made with a tight-fitjing bodice' trimmed with pearls, while (lie full flared skirt was finished with a deen hem of silver lace dipping to the ankles at the, hack. Tier embroidered I nlle veil was held in place \yith a coronet of orange blossom bud« and she carried a bouquet of pink and white asters and dahlias. The bride was attended by her sister. Mrs. F. Xeedham. as matron of honour, who wore a beige crepe de chine frock with a jade-green hat. Tier bouquet was of pink and white flowers. Little Joyce Jackson, as flower girl, was dressed in pale pink satin beaute, with tulle, frills edged with pink ribbon. Her head-dress of pink tulle was tied in a, bow at the side and she carried a posy to tone. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. T. A. Short as best man.
