OBSTETRICAL APPEAL.
AUCKLAND DONATIONS,
TOTAL TO DATE OVER £2OOO,
The anm of £2300 lis 7d has sotfar been subscribed by Auckland citizens in response to the appeal launched by the New Zealand Obstetrical Society for funds to found a. chair of obstetrics at the Otago University. It is hoped to collect £25,000, of which Auckland's quota is £7500, and • this sura will carry a pound for pound subsidy from the Government.
