CLASSES IN PRINTING

Tho board of managers of the Seddon Memorial Technical College met yesterday, tho chairman, Mr. H. S. W. King, presiding. With reference to the provision of extra accommodation for training apprentices in tho printing ieacta the Minister of Education wrote stating tli.it it was not considered necessary that the workshop building should be extended at present. It was decided to communicato with the Minister stating that the Printing Trades' Apprenticeship Committee, which had previously not favoured extension. was now in favour of having increased facilities for training.

Tho principal was granted permission to appoint two additional teachers, one for commercial classes and one to teach English, mathematics and physics. It was stated tho school-roll entitled this addition to the staff.
