Rear-Admiral Byrdwill not sail with the City o! New York on Sunday. His route will be announced to-morrow.

Last evening the New Zealand Company of Master Mariners honoured Captain Melville, master of the City ,of New York> by conferring on him the distinction of like membership of the company. He js the first foreign seaman to be so honoured. Members were present from Wellington and other parts of the Dominion.
