LOAN SCHEMES REJECTED.
PROPOSALS AT GISBORNE. SEWERAGE AND WATER WORKS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] GISBOENE, Wednesday. A poll on proposals to raise two general loans and two special loans, the total amount being £131,250, for additions to the sewerage and water works in the town and suburbs, was taken to-day. All proposals were rejected by substantial majorities.
