WESTFIELD DEVIATION.

OPENING NEW STATIONS,

GOODS TRAFFIC IN A MONTH,

Suburban goods traffic will shortly be handled at the new stations on the Westfield deviation. It is expected that the sidings at the Sylvia Park, Panmure, Tamaki and Glen Innes stations will be available in about four weeks and their opening will mark another stage in the development of the line toward ultimate use for passenger traffic.

At present, through goods traffic only is handled on the deviation, but the duplication of the line is proceeding and it is expected to be in full running order before long.
