CYCLIST'S FATAL INJURIES.

COLLISION WITH TRAM. ACCIDENT IN CHRISTCHURCH. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHUECH, Tuesday. As the result of injuries received when he collided with a tramcar in Colombo Street, a cyclist, Mr. Leslie James Lange, a young married man, died in Christchurch to-day. While Mr. Lange was cycling down Colombo Street on the left side he found the way blocked by a tramcar. He swerved into the middle of the 'street to avoid it, but he did not see that another car was approaching on the other set of rails, and this tram struck him heavily. Mr. Lange was alive when picked up, but his injuries were so grave that recovery was hopeless. He died less than two hours later.
