NEW SCHOOL OPENED.

DISTRICT NEAR CAMBRIDGE. [Et telegraph.—own correspondent.] CAMBRIDGE, Friday. Although the Taotaoroa district, about eight miles from Cambridge, is one of thp oldest settled in tho Waikato, it had no school for many years. The original school was shifted and a small number of scholars received education at Karapiro, about four miles away. A new wooden school was officially opened this afternoon by the member for Rotorua, Mr. C. H. Clinkard. Tho schoolmaster is Mr. W. J. G. Hunter, formerly of the Royal Oak School, Auckland.
