SHUNTER'S CRITICAL INJURY.

RAILWAY STATION MISHAP.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAIIEAPE, Friday. Through being struck with considerable force by a horse's hoof, Mr. George Allen, railway shunter, of Taihape, is now lying in hospital in a. critical condition. The accident occurred at the Taihape railway station last evening. .. Mr. Allen was trying to lead a horse which competed at the Taihape show on to a goods train, when the animal suddenly kicked him in the face, fracturing his jaw in several places and inflicting other serious injuries.
