A writer iin the Star says the appointment of Lord Stonehaven's successor as Governor-General of Australia is causing some concern to the Prime Minister, Mr. Mac Donald. He would like to send out a supporter of the Labour Party, but the difficulty is that the salary of £IO,OOO hardly covers half the expenditure found necessary by holders of the position.
