BRADMAN'S SIX CENTURIES.

The Sydney grade cricket matches' were continued yesterday. Batting for St. George against Randwick Don Bradman made 187. For Petersham against Waverley T. Andrews made 119. For Marrickville against Western Suburbs Thatcher/ made 107. Bowling for Balmain against Northern District Hunt took four for 33.

It is interesting to note that'in the past three weeks Don Bradman has made 914 runs with six centuries in - succession.

SHEFFIELD SHIELD MATCH.

3 In the Sheffield Shield cricket match against Victoria, who made 118, the South Australians in their first innings yesterday were all dismissed for 110 runs. Davidson took four wickets for 6 runs, Ironmonger three for 37, Alexander two for 43, A'Becketfc none for 21. Victoria in tho second innings made 396 for eight wickets (A'Beckett 152, Oakley 43, Ponsfora 54, J. Ellis 45 not out). TENNIS IN AMERICA.

In the national lawn tennis ranking list ,W. T. Tilden has boen given first place for the tenth consecutive year by the United States Lawn Tennis Association to-day. The nine others are in the following order, —Hunter, Doeg, Lott, Van Ryn, Frederick Mcrcur, Allison, Coen, Bell, Mangin.' Mrs. Helen Wills Moody is No. 1 in the women's singles list. Doeg and Lott are No. 1 in the men's doubles list. Tho St. Louis Association has declared itself in favour of open tournaments between amateurs and professionals, and has awarded tho first tournament to the Oermantown Club. The holding of the tournament is dependent on the approval of the International Federation at its meeting in March.

Cameron was just beaten by a touch, but as he was without the necessary residential qualifications, his performance was debarred from official recognition. Time, lm 7s. 440 yds. Handicap. McCuru (New South Wales), 1; Higginson (Victoria), 2; Ray (Tasmania), 3. Won by eight lengths. Time, 6m 37 l-3s. The Keiran Shield, for tho most successes at tho meeting, went to Queensland.

The New Zealand and Australian billiard players, McConachy and Lindrum, are to pay a return visit to Britain in October. They will visit South Africa in March, 1931, and play throughout that country.

The following were the results on the final day of the New South Wales athletic championships at Manly:— 220 yds. Race.—J. Carlton won in 21 4-ss, which equals tho Australian record. 440 yds. Hurdles.—F. W. O'Brien won in 57 l-ss, which equals tba Australian record."

Women's 220yds.—Miss C. Dahm won in 26 l-10s, an Australian record.

RECORD AT MELBOURNE. (Received February 16, 5.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Feb. 16

At the Victorian athletic championship meeting in Melbourne D. McLardy won tho 120 yds. hurdles championship in 15s, which is an Australian and Victorian record. The 100 yds, championship was won by C. J. Lane in 10s. The 440 yds. championship was won by A. Elliston in 50 7-10s. The mile championship was won by W. M. Whyte> in 4m 275.

WRESTLING IN AMERICA.

NEW YORK, Feb. 15

A message from Cincinnati says the National Association announces that a match for the-heavy-weight wrestling title has been arranged between Pesek and Londos. Details have not yet been settled.
