fn the House of Commons the Prime Minister, Mr. Mac Donald, said the Post-master-General, Mr. IT. [I. Lees-Smith, had not refused to use beam jvirclcss for overseas telephony. On the contrary a committee ot the Cabinet was considering the subject. Asked if it were not a fact that the Imperial beam service had been neglected and an allowance made to an Americap company to the'serious prejudice of Empire communications, Mr. Mac Donald said he understood that was inaccurate. However, the question should be addressed to the Postmaster-General.
