The Auckland Theatre Employees' Mutual Aid Society held its annual picnic at Motutapu on Sunday. There was a largo attendance of members and friends, and a compvehensivo sports programmo was carried out. The theatre employees' relay race, of teams of four, two njon and two women, for tho Alex. O'Haie Memorial Cup presented by Mr. J. Farrell, was won by the Civic Theatre team. His Majesty's Theatro being second. CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY. Company's annual staff picnics was held. Over 250 peoplo uiado tlio trip by train' rind bus, while niauy others travelled to the honch by motor-car. The visitors were, welcomed by the Mayor of Waihi, Mr. W. M. Wnllnutt. .and the chairman of tho Beach Improvement Association, Mr. R. C. I). Lightbouruc.
