LOST ON MOUNTAIN.
ORDEAL OF AN ACTOR.:
DISCOVERY BY SEARCHERS.

Through missing the track down Fantham's Peak, Mount Egmorit, in the gathering darkness last evening, Mr. Joseph Shaw, a member of a theatrical company now touring Taranaki, lost his way and wandered into Kapuni Gorge. Searchers from Dawson Falls found him and brought him safely to the hostel at 11 o'clock.
Mr. Shaw was making his way down Fantham's Peak with a party, when he left his companions it is believed to join another party; At about 8 p.m. he was reported to the hostel as missing, and the Searchers 'set out. When they found him he was- feeling the effects of -exposure.
