WEDDING.

POSTLES—JEFFRIES. Tlie marriage of Miss Marjorie Jeffi'ips, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Jeffries, of Clonbern Road,' Remuera, to Mr. Alfred John Postles, youngest, son of Mr. and Mrs Postles, of Kingsview Road, Mount Eden, was celebrated at the Mount Eden Congregational Church yesterday afternoon. The Rev. R C. Roberts performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory satin and georgette. Tho fcjglit-fittiug corsage was of souple satin, and the skirt of ivory georgette was made with flared tiers which dipped to the ankles at the buck. Her veil of embroidered Brussels not formed a train and was arranged on the lipad with a lace cap and small clusters of orange blossom at either side. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and dahlias. Three bridesmaids were in attendance. The first two, Miss Dorothy Greville and Miss Hilda Rice, wt?rt' dressed aliko in frocks of capucino chiffon with pointed hems and yokes of netfaintly outlined with silver embroidery. Their beige crinoline picture hats wore swathed with beige and primrose velvet, and they carried shower bouquets of pansies, dahlias and sweet peas ii» toning shades. Mis§ Patricia Jefines, sister of tho bride, also attended as bridesmaid, and wore a frock of powder blue georgette, the hem hanging m four points, while tho waistline was defined with vandyked satin ribbon. Her picture hat of cream straw was swathed with powder blue ribbon and she carried a posy of blue flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Philip Potter as best man and Mr. Alison Weir was groomsman. Mrs. Jeffries, mother of tho bride, wore a black crepe de chine frock patterned in primrose and red, and a black crinoline picture hat, She carried a bouquet of yellow dahlias. Mrs. Posticus, mother of the bridegroom, was in a black Chantilly lace frock with a black Bangkok, hut. . She carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers. »
