VERANDAH FALLS ON CAR.
COLLISION WITH POST.;
MISHAP AT WHANGAREI-

WHANGAREI, Friday,
A verandah roof fell on the top of a car in Cameron Street, early this morning. The driver of the car, Mr. McCain, said that when he was proceeding along Cameron Street at 1.15 a.m. the front tyre blew out and the car crashed into a verandah pole. The heavy verandah collapsed on the car, which'was considerably damaged. Mr. Paul Kokieh, a passenger, received a cut over the left temple, necessitating medical attention. The driver was not hurt. ; ;•
