BEAUTIFUL ENGLISH WOMEN.
PARTY AT THE MAYFAIR. Beautiful women in beautiful gowns could be seen in quito overwhelming numbers at the party at tho Mayfair Hotel the other night, which was attended by tho Queen of Spain, states a London writer. Tho Queen woro a sleeveless tightfitting red lace dress reaching down to tho floor. From her ears hung long ruby earrings. Mrs. Lionel Guest was another member of the party, while Lady Howe, a vision in white, with a little black patch placed on her cheek, looked most piquant.
Lady Oxford was seated next to Queen Ena. Both wero smoking, only tho Queen had an ash tray on a table in front of her, so that every time Lady Oxford and Asquith, looking like night in a black, black dress, wanted to shake off the ash from her .cigarette she had to get up, curtsey to the Queen and lean over hci to reach the ash tray. All of which operations sho performed with the greatest skill. But then, after all, there is only ono Margot, isn't thero ?
