CLASSES FOR TEACHERS.

INSTRUCTION IN SCIENCE.

COURSE TO START NEXT WEEK. Classes of instruction for teachers in agriculture, hygiene and dairy science will be held in Auckland for two weeks commencing on Monday. Auckland is the only centre at which the classes will be held and teachers from all parts of New Zealand will attend. Threo classes wilj be conducted at the Seddon -Memorial Technical College and one at the Auckland Training College. Science instructors operating in the Auckland district will be in charge of the classes. The instruction is given for the benefit of those teachers who need practical expei ience in the work to complete certificates. At the present time the majority of teachers obtain this experience in the training college, but this was not the case formerly. Thoso attending the classes will be rnayily teachers with some years of servite.
