SURVIVORS OF SHIP'S CREW.
GERMANY GRANTS DISTINCTION.
(Received November 29, 6.5 p.m.) Times Cable. LONDON, Nov. 28. The Berlin correspondent of the Times says that under a Government decree authorising the survivors of the original cfuiser Emdcn to affix ''Emden" to their family names as an honourable distinction, the survivors in many parts of Germany took the necessary legal steps.
/ The local Courts are expediting the applications, and are also remitting the costs, but the Hamburg Senate has now rejected the claims of 10 residents of ? Hamburg, who are canvassing all the political parties, in order to secure the revocation of the decision.
