WELSH MINERS ENTOMBED
SEVEN LOSE THEIR LIVES
RESCUE OF 33 OTHERS.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received November 29, 9.45 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 29. An explosion occurred at Wernbwl Colliery, near Gowerton, Glamorganshire, in which there were 40 men.' Relief parties and doctors rushed to the scene, and all the men were rescued except seven, who were entombed, and who later were found dead. Five bodies were recovered.
