WEDDING.

„ RAYNER—GORDON,

The wedding took place recently in St. John's Methodist Church, Ponsonby Road, Auckland, of Edith, widow of the late Mr. George Gordon, and Stanley, son of Mrs. Rayner and the late Mr. Frank Rayner, of Huntly. The Rev. A. Mitchell officiated at the ceremony, which was a quiet one, only intimate friends and relatives of both parties being present. The bride, who entered the church with her brother-in-law, Mr. Robert Hogg, was gowned in rose beige with silk over lace and'hat to tone. Her bouquet was of pink roses. Mrs. R. Hogg, sister of the bride, accompanied her as matron of honour, and was frocked in navy blue satin, with lime coloured hat and carried a bouquet of lemon shaded roses. The bridegroom, who is well known in Rugby League football circles, was attended by Mr. D. Whorskey as best man. After the ceremony the guests adjourned to the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Brass, of Pompalier Terrace, Ponsonby, where a reception was held.
