ACCIDENT AT HASTINGS.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —-PRESS ASSOCIATION. J HASTINGS, Thursday.

When the Hawke's Bay Aero Club's Spartan plane, piloted by Flight-Lieu-tenant E. Olsen, was landing afc Hastings this evening one wing struck the ground, pulling the nose of . the machine down' ward.

The machine was damaged to such an extent that repairs will occupy some weeks. The pilot sustained cuts on the head and a leg. .
