WOMEN'S INSTITUTES.

GREENHITHE. The birthday party of the Greenhithe Institute was recently celebrated, the chief feature of the everting being a lecture on town-planning, given by Mr. Blake, a member of the London Townplanning Association. The lecturer was introduced in a short speech by Mrs. Tate, president, apd the gathering enjoyed a most interesting and _ instructive address, illustrated by appropriate lantern slides. At its conclusion Mr. Jonkers, president of the Ratepayers' Association, thanked Mr. Blake for the pleasure he had given.
