MISS McFIE ENTERTAINED.
Yesterday afternoon an informal tea -was given in tho Tudor Tearooms for Miss McFie, representing the Toe H League of Women Helpers, by the Ex-Service Women's Association. The balcony room had been chosen for the gathering, and the tables were arranged with African daisies. Miss McFie was welcomed by the president, Mrs. H. L. Gould, and presented with a bouquet of red and white roses, after which she gave a brief talk upon the aims and ideals of the movement. At the close, she individually met and chatted with different members of the company, renewing war-timo memories. Among tho ex-service women members present were, in addition to tho president, Mrs. F. C. Webster (secretary), Dr. Buckley-Turkington, Mrs. R. Michaels, Mrs. R. H. Webber, Mrs. C. Smith, Mrs. H J. Wily, Miss G. Luxford, Miss Chil-ton-Sutton, Miss N. Norish, Miss Eouskill. There were also present as guests of the association Mrs. Tracey-Inglis, Mrs. Luxford, Mrs. John Cook, Mrs. Hirst, Mrs.' Michael (junior), and Miss V. Walsh. On behalf of the gathering, Mrs. Webster thanked Miss McFie for her most interesting address. Miss McFio was also entertained at a morning tea given by Mrs. Basil Cadoux and Miss Mendelssohn, at the Lyceum Club, tho occasion being a most pleasant one. To-day Miss McFie leaves for Australia.
