CLUB AT TAUMARUNUI. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.!) TAUMARUNUI. Thursday. There was a good attendance at tho Taumarunui Rod and Gun Club's clay bird shoot yesterday. Tho results were:— First Handicap Sweepstake, 6 birds.— G. Brethevton, E Ligbtfoot »nd A. J. Richards divided tho prize. Second Handicap Sweepstake, 6 birds.— W, Peck. G. Bremerton and A. J. Richards divided the prize. Third Handicap Sweepstake, 15 birds.— ■VJ. Peck and E. Litfbtfoot, 13 birds each, divided the- prizo. , Fourth Handicap Sweepstake, 12 birds, for G; R. Thynne's trophy.—A. J. Riohards and E. Lichtfoot, 12 birds each, divided the prizo money. E. Liijhtfoot won the trophy. i Fifth Handicap Swocpstake, 6 birds,—A. .T, Richards. 6 birdß, It "W. Peck, G. Brethorton and E. Lightfoot, 6 birds, divided the pocond prize.
