MAN IN SERIOUS CONDITION.

The Cambridge Borough poundkeeper, Mr. J. Norries, aged 59, was admitted to the Waikato Hospital to-day in an unconscious condition. Mr. Norries returned to his home at Cambridge on Saturday evening on horseback. His wife saw him enter tho yard and he was later picked up unconscious, with a deep wound in his head. It is thought his horse kicked him while he was unsaddling it. His condition is serious.
