At the London wool sales to-day 9448 bales were offered, of which 1233 were New Zealand. _ There was a very poor supply of Dominions' wools. The market was firm and prices were fully maintained. MARKET REPORTS. FRUIT AND PRODUCE PRICES. There wero do outstanding changes in tlio prices for fruit at tho Auckland City Markets yesterday. Tlio usual demand existed for apples and pears, the values remaining on a pr.r with last week's quotations. No j-ipo repacked bananas wero sold. Cook, island tomatoes wero in poor demand, while lemons met with only a fair response. Fresh shipments of Australian citrus fruits and Fijian bananas arrived yesterday and will bo offered today. Tho field produce market was again heavily supplied with cabbage, cauliflower and swedes. Large stocks of all root vegetables were available, while there was a fair supply of new potatoes. Cabbage and cauliflower showed an increase in price, the values for other lines remaining about, the same. There was a slight increase in the prices for the six grades of hen and duck eggs. Moderate supplies met with a good demand,. With the object of assisting local producers ono large city firm has guaranteed its producers a gross return of Is 4£d a dozen for special grade hen eggs and Is 3d for "A" grade during tho current month. Average supplies of farmers' butter continued to realise Is Id to Is 4d per lb., there being a moderate demand. . The following prices were realised yesterday : J FRUIT. Armies.
