It is here that Jessie Graham, after a monotonous early life, finds real happiness and contentment in the role of companion to the invalid wife of Gerald Hunter. Then sho becomes tho hapless victim of jealous machinations and nntramelled intrigue. Sensation follows sensation ns tho author skilfully draws the veil of mystery that enshrouds the action. The character Vmilding is excellent and combines an ingenious plot with moro vital interest than does'the abundance of incident. Instalments will appear daily.
