LAW AND INSURANCE.
ANNUAL CONVERSAZIONE. The annual law and insurance conversazione, which took place in Scots Hall last evening, proved a well-attended and most enjoyable function. The hall bad been arranged cabaret fashion, the tables having been decoratod with vases of Iceland poppies and daffodils. Green and orange streamers, which were suspended from the coiling, made effective decorations in the hall, and the stage was arranged with graceful ferns and twinkling fairy lights. Mr. H. Duncan was host for the evening, and made a short speech of welcome. Later an excellent programme of entertainment was given. Among those who were present were:— Mrs. H.
