NEW YORK. Sept. 20,

A tragic fire occurred in a cabaret at Detroit in tho early hours of this morning.

In spite of tho efforts of rescuers and the frantic attempts of the peoplo trapped in tho burning building to escapo 16 lives wore lost.

Thirty people, were injured and taken to hospital. Tho cabaret was completely, consumed by the flames.
