WESTMINSTER SINGERS.

For the benefit of tho many country people interested in tho present tour of the Westminster Glee Singprs, this talentod company will appear at Whangarei on Monday and Tuesday and at Hamilton on Friday and Saturday of next week. Three evoning performances and one matinee remain of tho Auckland season, and opportunities to hear tho notable singing, both solo and concerted, are being largely availod of. Excellent audiences attended at the matinee and the evening performance at His -Majesty's Theatre yesterduy and greatly appreciated the fino programmes offered. Changes of prograinmo will bo mado at each of tho remaining performances. Prominent among tho eight adult singers of the company is the New Zealand tenor, Mr. Ernest McKinley, whoso inclusion by Mr.- Edward Branscombe, tho manager, has met with general approval. Mr. McKinley's Maori and other typically New Zealand numbers liuve been much appreciated. Spirited choruses, humour and sentimental numbers are all rendered with care and fooling by the company. Tho boy sopranos iiavo been assigned important work in the choruses and also give somo excellent solos. Particulars of box plan arrangements for the remainder of the soason are advertisod.
