FANCY-DRESS EVENING.
The Young Women's Bible Gass held a masked fancy dress social in the Remuera Methodist school hall. Multi-coloured streamers and balloons, with bowls of daffodils arranged on the dais, decorated the hall. Visitors included members of Somervell Presbyterian and Newmarket Methodist Biblo Classes, and also students from Trinity College. Miss Walton we! corned tho judges, Mr. and Mrs. A. Don. and presented tho latter with a bouquet. Prizes were awarded to Miss A. Capper, who represented an Indian maiden; Mr. F. Davies, "Gay Caballero." The most original costumes were worn by Miss 15. Schulke, who represented "Community Singing," and Messrs. McDowell and Leadley, "Siamese Twins." The evening was spent with games and competitions, and various items were given bv Messrs. McDowell, Sanlt and Davies.
