SHEEP DOG TRIALS.
CLUB AT WHANGAREI. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] "WHANGAREI. Monday. Tho committee of the Whangarei Sheep Dog Trial Club met on Saturday, Mr. J. A. Finlayson presiding. There was some discussion as to the allocation of the Whangarei Ladies' Cup, and it was decided to appoint three ladies to act as conveners of a committee to r.dvise in what way tho cup should be disposed of. Those appointed wore Mesdnmes A. Fin* , layson, H. E. Finlayson and R. Newman.' j Dates for the 1930 trials were referred lo j a sub-committee. A Hub-committee was appointed to confer j with Mr D. J. Finlayson in reference to , the alteration in tho layout of the trial j ground, and to report to another meeting.
