BIBLE TRAINING.

WORK OF THE INSTITUTE.

Tho annual gift day of the New Zealand Bible Training Institute was held on Wednesday, the second anniversary of "the opening of (ho institute's new building in Upper Queen Street. A largo number of visitors attended and availed themselves of tho opportunity of seeing the work of the institute ii} progress. The visitors were welcomed bv Mrs. 11. Goss Wilson, president of tho ladies' committee, and the Rev. J. W. Kemp gave a brief address on the growth of tlto institute since its inception in 1922. In that year there were nine mem bers, compared with a membership of 60 at present. About 40 graduates of the institute were at present engaged in foreign mission work, and many others were employed in Christian work elsewhere. Mr. C. J. Rolls also addressed tho gathering. During tho afternoon a series of enjoyable items was given by students of the institute.
