OVERSEAS LEAGUE.
BRIDGE EVENING.
A successful and largely-attended bridge evening was. held in the Delnionico Cafe last evening l>y the Auckland branch of the Overseas League, when 20 tables were in use for play. Bowls of Iceland poppies placed on stands in the corners gave an attractive appearance to the room and the ovening passed very enjoy ably.

Holmden, Mrs. C. W. McCaw, Misses Nora and Slav Kissling, Miss Guerrie, Miss Early, Mrs. H. G. Coats, Mrs. Coleman, Miss Uyrie, Miss l\ Lindsay, Miss McClymont, Miss King, Mrs. C. 11. Tewsley, Mrs. Keesing, Mrs. Christie, Miss Langnian. Miss Orehiston. Miss K. Palmer, Miss M. Nicol, Mrs. Moorliouse, Miss Criehton linrie, Miss S. Mulvaney, Miss J. Mulvanev, Miss G. Pitman.
