FEARS OF VICTIMISATION. STATEMENT BY AN OFFICIAL. SYDNEY, Aug. 2. Tho organiser of the Federated Enginedrivers' 1-nion, Mr. Sutherland, charges the leaders of the ronlmincrs with having refused to move for a settlement of tho coa'mniing dispute because they fear facing the victimisation issue which might arise after a settlement. USE OF GAS RESTRICTED. STRINGENT REGULATIONS. SYDNEY. Aug. 2. Stringent restrictions on the use of gas are to be enforced for the next four days owing to the shortage of coal. Gas must only bo used for three hours in the morn- i ing and the same at night. | One hundred people are to bo prosecuted for having infringed tho restriction regulations in the past fortnight
