RUSSIAN PEOPLE PERTURBED
EFFORTS IN CAUSE OF PEACE
Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received August 2. 7.25 p.m.) MOSCOW, Aug. 2. According to the lass News Agency more than 500.000 people attended a demonstration at Moscow. They passed a resolution drawing attention to the danger of a new war in the Far East and pledging their support to the Soviet in its efforts in the cause of peace. Similar demonstrations were held at Leningrad, Kharkoff and elsewhere.
