In the loan and agency section a late sale, oil Thursday of Golds-brough-Morts at 'l6s was reported. It indicates an advance of 2Acl to ljd above, latest transactions in the South. The reawakened interest in North Auckland Farmers' C'o-ops. was sustained with a further sale of ordinaries at 3s 2d, and of the B preference issue at 12s 3d. Wripht-Stephensons were again done at 26s Oil. The, coal section continued to show great strength. Renowns sold again at 17s. At the final call offers for Grey Valleys and all Waikatos savo \V.iipas were at advanced figures, offers for Pukomiros being as high as 71s 6d without appearance of sellers. In gas Auckl.mds were unchanged with a sale at 2-<s Id. Ju shipping buyers of Howard Smiths ad varicod 6d to 23s od, no sellers, and I'. and 0. doferrod stocks were in demand 2s 3d dearer at 54s 9d, sellers 565. In timber Kauris were again dono at 18s 6d. In the miscellaneous section British Tobaccos were done a shado dearer at 48s sd. Colonial Sugars were unchanged with a sale at £57 10s. Gear Meats made two current price sales at 445, and the contributing issue, of Now Zealand Refrigerating again changed hands at 7s 6d. In mining Alburnias made two current price sales at Is 6d, and Mount Lyolls wore again dono at 43s CLOSING QUOTATIONS.
