DINGWALL ORPHANAGE.

PROGRESS OF BUILDINGS. OCCUPATION NEXT YEAR. Although tho wet weather has been a serious hindrance substantial progress has been made with the erection of the Dingwall Presbyterian Orphanage buildings on tho fann site secured last year at I'apatoetoc. The orphanage has been planned on the cottage system, and three cottages, each to house 20 children, are now in course of erection. Other buildings being simultaneously erected in brick with double walls are tho central hall, with kitchen and servants' living room attached, hospital, groundsman's cottage, laundry and outhouses. Tho roof is already on the groundsman's cottage and on one of the children's cottages. All tho main walls should bo finished in about six weeks, but it is not anticipated that tho homes will be ready for use until the end of the year. Tho probability is that they will bo first occupied by the children at the beginning of tho next school year. Tho hospital has a covered-in rerandali and is capable of accommodating 24 patients. Ultimately there will bo five or six cotfagcs for the children.
