BABY FOUND DEAD.
HELD IN MOTHER'S ARMS. TRAGIC AFFAIR IN SYDNEY. SYDNEY, July 13. A tragedy occurred in the suburb of Chatswood this morning when a baby, 11 months old, was suffocated by her mother. Josephine Pa'ltinson, who is now in hospital suffering from the effects of gas.
The woman was found lying on the floor with her head in an oven, and the baby in her arms. The mother had been in ill health for sonic time.
