PRELIMINARIES TO DRAINING [by TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Friday Officers of the Lands and Survey De partment aro making a survey to determine tho watersheds of the whole Ruakura Swamp and also the internal watersheds. This is in preparation for the commencement of tho comprehensive drainage scheme that has been under consideration for some years.
