BERLIN SENSATION.
ARREST OF A COUNTESS. SUICIDE OF HER* FIANCE. BERLIN, May 28. The arrest, on a chargo of stealing jewellery worth £SOOO, of tho beautiful Countess Ilelga von Monroy, and tho subsequent suicide of her fiance, von Wedel, have shocked Berlin society. It is alleged that tho Countess stolo tho jewellery at Christmas from the villa of her aunt, Countess ITormersberg. Detectives, who suspected her, yesterday saw her offering tho jewels for sale. Evidently fearing police examination, her fiance shot himself with a revolvor.
