KING CARNIVAL DANCE.

The Commodore Flag officers and committee of the Takapuna Boating Club held a " King Carnival Dance " at the clubhouse at Buyswater last evening. The attractive decorations of the hall were particularly noticeable, especially when the Hit/, orchestra played music for the twilight dance, and bv means of coloured lights the Southern Cross could bo seen at one end of the hall. Mackay, cream georgette over rose; Mrs. Bach, navy georgette; Mrs. Peters, silver grey ring velvet; Mrs. Edwards, black embossed- chenille; Mrs. Williamson, beige georgette; Mrs. Waddell, Air Force blue crepo do chine: Mi's.
