INJURIES TO RIDERS.

MISHAPS AT THE RACES. Two riders were injured during the second day's racing of the Auckland Racing Club's meeting at EUerslie yesterday and were taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. During the running of the Great Northern Steeplechase Wedding March fell, and its rider, Mr. J. B. Smith, sustained a fracture of tho arm. Internal injuries were sustained by E. A. Iveesing when Merry Mint fell in the King George Handicap about a furlong from the winning post. His condition is not serious.
