ROTORUA-TAUPO LINE.
INSPECTION BY M.P.'S,
A party of five Auckland; members of Parliament, Messrs. A. Harris, W. JJordan, W. Leo Martin, Yv. E. Pauy and M. J. Savage, and two members of the local Labour Party executive, Messrs. T. Bloodworth and J. S. Montgomerie, left for Rotorua yesterday to inspect the route of the proposed Rotorua-Taupo railway. The tour is being made under the auspices of the Rotorua-Taupo Railway Development League, with Mr. BE. Vaile, president of the league, as guide. The members of the party expect to return to Auckland on Saturday or Sunday after covering the country on the route of the proposed line.
