McCall presided over a full alien-, dance of members of the annual meeting of the Papakura Bowling Club The treasurer's report showed the club 'to be iu a satisfactory financial position. The annual meeting of the Claudelaiids Bowling Club was held this evening. Mr. G. Clevely presiding. A satisfactory season was recorded by the committee. The membership totalled 7-2. The balance-sheet disclosed a satisfactory position, the assets totalling £1033 and the liabilities .£035. There was a credit balance in hand of £Bl. The committee appealed for an increase in the membership to em.blc further improvements to bo carried out. The election of officers resulted:—President. Mr. J. Baillie: vice-presidents, Messrs. H. G. Speight. WHITIORA CLUB. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Wednesday. The annual meeting of the Whitiorn. Bowling Club was held last evening, Mr. P. R. Stewart presiding. Tho annual report showed thai Inst season had been a successful one. The membership stood at G5. Tribute was paid to the work o{ the secretary, Mr. W. C. Wycherley. During the year the club's debit balance had been reduced from £67 to £3l. The election of officers resulted:—Patron, Mr. W. F. Mason; president, Mr. C. Lambeth; vice-presideut, Mr. W. W. Dilhcnr: secretary, Mr. W. C. Wycherley: committee. Messrs. W. F. Choat, A. H. Michell and R. Street: Mr. W. E. Burrow was elected a life member of- tho club in' recognition of his service*.
