CHARGE OF CONVERSION.

ALLEGED ACT OF BOYS. CAR TAKEN FROM WANGANUI. [BY TEL EOS A PH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Thursday. Two youths, Benjamin Taylor Watkinson, aged 16, and John Griffenhoffe Abrarn, aged 17, were charged before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court to-day with converting to their own use a car valued at £250, the property of George V. Adams. Senior-Sergeant Sweeney said the car was taken from Wanganui on Sunday and the accused were arrested in Hamilton yesterday. The car had been recovered. The accused were remanded to appear in Wanganui next Tuesday.
