FAILURE OF DEALER.
NO BUSINESS EXPERIENCE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Wednesday. A deficiency of .£136 17s 6d was shown in the bankrupt estate of Horace Moyle, labourer, Hamilton, who met his creditors to-dav, • Bankrupt submitted a statement in which lie said that in Juno last he commenced business in Putaruru buying and selling second-hand furniture and machinery. At the same timo ho continued to do carting work and was present at tho shop in the evening. Bankrupt said he had done 12 weeks' work since Christmas. A warrant had been issued against him in connection with a judgment summons on a Morrinsville debt and he had to file his petition to avoid arrest. He attributed his position to inability to obtain employment since Christmas. In answer to questions Moyle said he had had no business experience and was unable to keep books. The business was left in the hands of the official assignee, Mr. .T. IT. Robertson, to deal with. It was agreed to oppose bankrupt's discharge until he had made an effort to reduce tho amount owing.
